- You can start by sketching your clothing ideas on a piece of paper and designing at home. Keep playing with designs and explore with colors until it appears just right to you. You need to be creative and watch ‘Project Runway’ carefully.
- Get yourself enrolled in a good fashion school to learn every minute but crucial aspect related to fashion, trends, drapery, flow of fabric, etc.

- Keep yourself updated about changing fashion trends by exposing yourself to media and obviously collecting knowledge about fashion world.
- Start learning the ways to sell fashion. Find out if it can be sold in stores or online. The next but very important step is to learn about ‘targeting your customer base’.
- Make a list of big companies and brands that sell fashion and that define fashion.
- Try and seek an internship in one of these companies. Don’t hesitate to take help from your trainer. Getting an internship opportunity in Paris or at a big design house would be a turning phase into your career.
