Obama Kids Admissioned to Sidwell Friends School
December 4, 2008 – 7:16 pmThe guess game started prior elections, and ended with Obama winning the President-ship race. After a contemplative study of various schools, the recently elected US President decided that his daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, would be joining Sidwell Friends School in Washington. Michelle Obama considers Sidwell “the best fit for what their daughters need right now”, also hinting at the security issue Sidwell would cooperate with.
Incepted in 1883, the school has a reputation of educating a generation of famous people, and so-much-so that it is almost become a “US President’s-kids school”. It has educated the children of three famous Presidents, (now four) - Theodore Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, with Obama adding to the list. If sources are to be believed, the other reason for finalizing Sidwell is the girls’ very close friends- grandchildren of Vice President Joseph R. Biden- attending the same school. The school has an annual tuition fee of $29,442 and is considered one among the best schools of The United States. The girls currently attend a private school in Chicago and would soon join Sidwell School in Washington. We wish the girls a Happy Schooling!
