Chennai has no Office Space?

Think that Delhi, Bangalore and Pune are the main hub of business sector in India? If yes, you might want to think again. Chennai is a new, or may be recently discovered name in the business sector. A survey recently proved that Chennai’s demand for more office space is increasing with every growing day. To help the state in this regard, a whole 1 million sq. ft. area was been created in the city recently. Chennai however stills seems short of office space!

The investors are particular of getting space in prime central business districts. Surprisingly enough, the investors are also looking for residential accommodation in the growing suburbs of South Chennai. This they say is led by the fact that many IT companies are located in and around the suburbs of Chennai. The survey also reports that the space is primarily needed by the financial, telecom and IT sectors. Officials say it is indeed a great start for yet another Indian state to prove its mettle in the business sector. So is it the business sector that is improving, or real estate?
