Ltd (GLS) is a rapid growing specialty biotechnology center and a significant part of the unique collaboration between the Government, University and Industry. GLS is proactive in application, research and promotion of modern biotechnology. Dr. M. H. Mehta, a respected scientists and educationalist, manages the organisation with his team of young enterpreneurs and scientists. One of the greatest assets this organisation has is its behaviour of establishing itself as a bridge between science and environment, labs and fields, the scientists and the consumers, and the research and application. GLS works with an objective to work on newer technologies to expedite implementation on issues concerning environment, health care and agriculture.
GLS is a non-profit organisation, established by a team of young professionals, who returned India after seeking their education and training from USA , Australia and Japan. It has not only updated biotech-based products but has come up with breakthrough eco-friendly, cost-effective and safer solutions, products and technologies for environment, health care and agriculture. The technology is about combining various microbes (since every microbe has different function) to formulate a unique product to provide an easy and cost-effective solution for a range of applications, which were not yet explored. The effectiveness of this formulated solution is then reflected in successful application in the Environ-Biotech, Health care and Agri-Biotech.
GLS’s association with the State Government and State Agriculture University has led the organisation established as a highly successful venture and a strong institution in promotion and eduction of biotechnology and bio-safety.
