Amaze Apollo School Wellbeing Program announced

The Apollo Hospitals & Amaze Brainfood - Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) have joined hands together to announce a unique school health program called the Amaze, Apollo School Wellbeing Program. This program is undertaken for the first time in the country covering 200 leading schools in the 3 states. contacting 1,00,000 students. After scanning the replies to a questionnaire (child wellness scan) given to each student, the Apollo Health Centre will create a health and wellness status report for each child which advices on total health and cognitive development in the child for the parents benefit. At the end of the Amaze Apollo School Wellbeing Program based on the findings of individual and other parameters, there will be a revelation on, ‘Which school is the healthiest?,’ in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.(one school in each state)

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Shobana Kamineni, Executive Director Apollo Hospitals Group said, “Children are a strong foundation for a bright future. With the increase in child obesity and other health related problems, it is the right time for us to wake up and start evaluating the holistic and cognitive development of our children. The Apollo Amaze school health program will enable us to evaluate children on one-on-one basis through a detailed questionnaire which will highlight their health and wellness status.”
